The official release date for Starcraft II: Legacy of the Void'was announced this weekend during a cinematic event in Los Angeles. According to the release event, Starcraft II's street date is officially November 10th, 2015. The announcement also came with a magnificent cinematic introduction for Legacy of the Void (watch below).

In it, we see the last of a band of Protoss warriors standing firm among the ruins of their homeworld of Aiur, a world we have not seen Protoss inhabiting in any way, shape, or form since Episode II of the original Starcraft. Does this mean that we will be fighting against Kerrigan's swarm in Legacy of the Void Newest version of logic pro x. ? Kerrigan was last seen headed to the void to stop Amon, so is this swarm already under Amon's control? The cinematic reveal raises more questions than it answers, and I have to say: I'm stoked.

Legacy of the Void has already showed some promise as the last installment for the series, adding new gameplay modes such as Archon mode or Allied Commanders. Pre-orders have already begun for the game as well. As an incentive, Blizzard will be giving the upcoming Artanis hero for Heroes of the Storm as a bonus, as well as several prologue missions in the pre-order beta.
